Not your average ‘Meet the Author’ event. Shayla will mix music with readings from her newborn book. There will also be time for questions to be answered for any aspiring thru-hiker or curious wanderer. Signed copies available for purchase.

Shayla & Mateo share a blend of coffeehouse folk with brazen harmony matching their Wilderness & Earth Loving values. This duo shares their experiences riding rivers, walking trails, and listening to deep forests through originals and seasoned sounds from old time Appalachia to today.

Traveling Shamans Camp
August 25-27th
Delta County Fairgrounds, 403 Fair Grounds, Hotchkiss, CO 81419
Shayla will share a deep night of storytelling and the truth about her healing through the voice of the trees. This free gathering of shamans, visionary artists, & wisdom teachers features song, dance, & drum groups as well as an open mic stage. All campers ($50 for 4-night 3-days) are authorized to be vendors of shamanic services & products in the campground which includes grass, picnic tables, large shade trees, showers, bathrooms, & some electric hookups.
